Cambrian Public School, Kanke Road, took a big step in promoting all-round development by opening a new Cricket Practice Net for its students. The event was made special by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mrs. Anandmayi Singh, who spoke about the importance of sports in student’s life by stating ‘Sports are essential for overall development’.
The school has also brought in expert coaches to strengthen its sports infrastructure, Mr. Ajmal Hussain, an umpire and coach associated with RDCA, JSCA, and certified as BCCI Level-1 Coach, along with Mr. Prashant Kumar Pandey, a seasoned cricket mentor involved with various cricket organizations including BCCI Under-19, will be leading the training sessions for students.
School Chairman Mr. Pancham Singh and Secretary Mr. Kunal Kumar Singh said the school is committed to helping students grow both in studies and in physical fitness.
During the event, students showed their skills in a lively net practice session. This was followed by an exciting match between two teams: Professional-11 and Cambrian-11, which highlighted the cricket talent of the school.
Many special guests, journalists, teachers, staff, and students attended the event. The Sports Head Girl, Meenakshi Kumari, hosted the event with great confidence and charm.
The esteemed principal Ms Premlata Kumari concluded this event with a message “We at Cambrian Public School believe that education is not limited to books alone. The inauguration of the Cricket Practice Net is a testimony to our commitment towards nurturing talent in every field—academic or athletic. We are proud to offer our students opportunities that prepare them for challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
